WALKING IN SPACE & KILLER JOE are my faves...

plus I'm a sucker for SECRET GARDEN...

and his score for THE COLOR PURPLE...
MISS CELIE'S BLUES (Sister) & MAYBE GOD IS TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING, man those two tracks get me everytime...

1 of my favourite joints must B
"if I ever lose this heaven"(1974)
with leon ware & minnie ripperton.
especially the full lenght album version
with that long spacey intro before the song just
explodes with all those knockout harmonies
in the chorus.

With Q, I think in terms of albums: BODY HEAT and WALKING IN SPACE are my faves, but Youv'e Got It Bad Girl and [b]Gula Matari are excellent!

Furthermore, you have to consider his productions for other artists. Especially, Brothers Johnsson' Lookin' Out For # 1 fro

Talking of Quincy, I would rate Q's Jook Joint as one of my favourite albums of all time!

Just listen to Killer Joe - that is some smooth shit!

How about You Put A Move On My Heart - oh, man - Tamia does a fantastic vocal and the song's a Rod-Temperton-Can't-Miss Classic!

How about Stomp - funky as hell and guaranteed to get ya movin!

Slow Jams

Rock With You

And for those who started and favourably replied in the Genesis thread: check out Phil Collins on "Do Nothin' Till You Hear From Me" - a different side of Phil Collins.

Anyone else LOVE this album?

Anything on the "Gula Matari" album... but my favorite one by Quiny is SMACKWATER JACK! "Hicky Burr" (feat. Bill Cosby) is some funny shit! I also dig "Mellow Madness".
"Peace and Benz -- The future, made in Germany" peace
