After seeing her last night I can't quite put my finger on it but that girls has changed!

Not judging if its for the better or not, but she's not the same girl we knew 3, even 2 years ago.

first her look; whats with the glowing orange fake n bake, she used to look so smooth and natural. Secondly she's filled out a bit, which isn't a bad thing, i thought she looked stunning last night, but even her face looks a bit rounder and almost botoxy!

Finally her voice! I know this new album is going to be less traditional R&B but her voice sounded gritty and deeper and not nearly as melodic as it used to.

Anyone else notice this about her?

I dont know if it was these specific things but she ain't the same Alicia anymore...

Alicia has always been thick. Even with the first album. To me, it seems like she's older and has matured alot. She was more of a girl then, now she's a woman and it's showing. Her looks have matured, her voice has matured, her stage presence has matured. Just everything.

She really needs to sit down and work with one of the best vocal coaches though. She needs work done in that area.

Alicia didn't impress me at all. Sorry. Other than people ranting about how her ass looked in those tight ass pants she had on, her performance didn't move me. All that screeching and squealing she did got on my nerves.

WTF...Alicia is fine.If shes changed its for the better.Shes always getting better 2 me.Her new song No One has her singing in a different way and its so on purpose. Its coming from her soul and gut...I love it.If she smokes shes probably been smoking.And you cant tell that from just holding matches.What if she was at a birthday party or something and they lit the cake...or maybe her boyfriend smokes.Either way its bad 4 you but I think shes great and getting better.I cant wait for her new album!And Alicia has always been thick

Here's an old video. I'm wondering if you all can help me. I'm trying to figure out if Alicia composed the added piano opening to Roberta Flacks "Killing Me Softly" in this video. I watched Roberta perform it aswell as a few others on the piano, and nothing is the same as Alicia's on here. She starts playing around the 2:25 mark. Please help me!

I wish that Alicia would come out with an album in the future that's strictly piano. I sometimes wonder if she's unable to finish compositions. I'm going through youtube and looking at a few of her performances, mostly old, and she really showcased alot of talent on the piano...unfortunately it was usually the beginning or ending to one of her songs.

To me, all of these are very short but nice possiblities. If she was to sit down later in the future and dedicate all her time to playing to piano...not writing, or singing, acting, or producing...she could make a real nice album. What do you guys think?

Nothing has changed IMO. I liked her first two albums (somewhat) but this new single is awful to me. Her voice sounds so strained and weak. I think if it had been anybody else the song would not be doing well but it gets a pass just because it's Alicia.
