September 30th is Grammy Cut-off day

Its hard to believe that its already here, but the cut off for nominations is just about 3 weeks away. It will be interesting this year since the Grammys have recently going ape shit over Big sellers, now thats not happening anymore so maybe they will get back to embracing EVERYTHING again. I couldnt even hazard guesses in any categories, i know my own, but me and the grammys have not agreed in a long time.

i think it's a safe bet to say that Gwen Stefani, Rhianna, and that 'sexy back' singer will grab several nods and wins.

i think Beyoncé will get a couple as well. not sure if she'll win.

Yeah i agree, you are also going to see everyone RUSH their singles to radio before the cut-off so they can at least get their singles nominated. So i would Alicia Keys,Mariah (possibly), Bruce Springsteen and others. For my list i would also say Christina Aguilera will get in there,Fergie all over most likely, but for the "lesser known to mainstream" i think you will see Paul McCartney and John Mellencamp get their due finally, also Bon Jovi. I personally would like to see Katharine Mcphee nominated for Best new Artist. The Grammys tend to be STUPID with this award and nominate artists who have had albums before, so i dont doubt them nominating Thicke and Amy Whinehouse as Best New Artists. Though i do think the two of them will get alot of nods in other categories too. Along with all the ones you mentioned.

Well knowing the way the grammys and TV ratings work im sure they will have her perform as some sort of "comeback"

I predict that Robin Thicke will get several nominations. He had a good year and Grammy voters go crazy over someone like him."Lost Without You" will be nominated for Song of the Year.
