Keep Meg White in your thoughts and prayers The White Stripes have cancelled their September tour dates due to Meg White's acute anxiety. Mental illness is tough, and I hope she gets the help she needs.

The report I read said they've cancelled all upcoming tour dates -- which, selfishly, makes me sad as I was planning to see them in October.
I, too, hope Meg gets the help she needs to get past this, bless her heart. Struggling with anxiety is terrible, and an exquisitely hellish way to live.

I suffer from severe anxiety and it's really difficult...especially being out around alot of people..you just literally freak out and want to run or pass out or feel like you're about to free fall to the ground. I finally saw a doctor, got some therapy and proper medication (that thankfully, I only carry around like an insurance policy and do not depend on them) and I feel so much better and it really is amazing to feel calm in public places. Like at a restaurant...before..I would not be able to sit through a meal...it really is awful. My prayer go out to her. .. Every minute of last night is on my face today....

That's unfortunate. I've had panic attacks from time to time, and it's no picnic. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Wow, I didn't know about this! Is it something that has just recently become a problem for her? "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015
