Stevie Nicks Comes To Her Senses & Wont Reunite With Fleetwood Mac Without McVie

Stevie Nicks Won't Reunite With Fleetwood Mac
Singer Stevie Nicks is refusing to reunite with her former Fleetwood Mac bandmates, unless fellow vocalist Christine McVie also returns. The star last recorded with her former bandmates on 2003's Say You Will album, but has since resisted offers to go on the road with them again, unless McVie - who quit the group in 1998 - is on board with the reunion. She says, "I don't like it as the boys' club. We could make millions and millions of dollars touring again. But I just don't know if I want to go again without Chris."

I agree with Stevie! I don't like reunions unless it includes ALL the key players.I was gonna see Fleetwood Mac on their last tour in 2004,but I chose not to go because Christine wasn't involved.I'll wait for a REAL reunion!

Come on Christine!! pray I hope she will do it

clapping Stevie! Ja, it's just not the same without all of 'em!

I remember reading an interview with Stevie a few years ago...she was half-jokingly encouraging fans to petition Chris to re-join the others for the tour! lol

That's probably the end of the Mac, then.
I can't see Chris returning.

Why not? Has she ever said anything bad about the other members?

Well yeah. lol
She's a good age as well, tho'. She must be in her mid 60s by now.
I don't blame her for wanting to give it up.

I doubt I would either. Especially if both Chris & Stevie decided not to appear. neutral

I agree with Stevie. At a certain point, how much money do you need? Stevie and Lindsey for sure have got to be rolling in it (if they aren't, who is?). I saw the concert video they did without Christine and it was good but it would have been nice to have that balance. Same with that album. It was good but essentially with nine songs each, it was like a full album each from Lindsey and Stevie each and that's not what Fleetwood Mac is. It was a bit much from each of them. I wonder if Christine is considering coming back into the fold at all. It's strange she left since she has been the third most stable member, really. She was with them from the early seventies until recently, right? She even did a forgetten album with who was left from the band (including new people here and there) in 1995 that I only read about recently.

i liked not having mcvie with them last time. it left more time for lindsey and stevie. nod i've never been a fan of christine's.

however, pay attention to the details of stevie's statement: "but i just don't know if i want to go again without chris."

that's no promise one way or the other. she left it open for them to convince her...
