Incredible album. They bridge the gap between pop, metal, and even some world musics brilliantly on this. It's worth the price for the second track "Heartache Every Moment." Check it out!

1. who is your favourite artist at the moment? The Who 2. is your favourite artist 'then' when u were younger the same as is 'now'? Actually, yes. 3. what do you miss most about music then? Finding exciting new sounds that pumped my heart a little harder. 4. what don't you miss about it then? Actally not much. 5. what do you like about the music now? Easily accessible. 6. what do you not like about it now? Easy accessibility = nothing seems quite as special once I do find it. 7. is it harder to find music u like now or easier? Somewhat easier although most of it is old music. 8. who did you think would still be around that isn't? Talking Heads 9. who did you think wouldn't be around that still is? Roky Erickson (13th Floor Elevators) 10. who influenced your musical tastes most in your life? Hip friends with good record collections 11. music videos: necessary or not? Not necessary, sometimes useful. 12. what's your favourite remake of an older song by an artist of today? They're pretty much all crapola. 13. what was your favourite single year for music overall? 1977 - first wave of punk rock 14. where do you hear about new artists now if not the radio or internet? Emusic.com, live shows, friends recommendations 15. are u or someone you know stuck in a musical era? i.e. 80's,90's... Not really just anything that's not "right now" is probably preferable. 16. what genre of music are you most into at the moment? Post-punk 17. what artist or album did u drive your parents nuts with? Suicidal Tendencies' debut...my mom was pretty tolerant before that. 18. what was the 1st concert u attended and what was the last? 1st: Allmann Bros, Pittsburgh, 1973 Last: Mudhoney & Melvins, LA, 9-15-07 19. what genre of music did you miss out on, or didn't get, that u wish u did? Punk rock IN 1977-80...those records are worth bank today. 20. who on the org shares your taste in music the most? ???? I used to have good chats with aemohr & TLM on the old NPGMC board even though we liked pretty different stuff... I'm still finding my way around here. | |
