Nice. I've never seen this video.
Somewhat reminds me of what Sly Stone could have been doing had he not allowed himself to get tangled up in drugs. Thanks.

The song is ok, but it's just too damn 80's sounding It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Are you kidding? It's timeless. Net thing you're going to post is that it looks eighties...and it totally doesn't. You could so where those clothes now! Funky. Was it produced by Jam and Lewis? Reminds me of a song I just heard by them.

"Crazay" was Jesse Johnson's song he mainly wrote and produced -- he didn't work with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis during his run as a solo artist. I don't where the "cheesy synths" comment came from, because the song is not synth-laden. It sounds like a Sly and The Family Stone-influenced song, which was the purpose of "Crazay." Even in 1986, it was different from the sounds that were popular at the time. THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. The song is still easily identifiable as an eighties song, even though it's not full of cheesy synths. Which means it generally will hold up better than songs made in this decade and will have more originality than stuff in the 1990s. But I can understand, since you likely weren't born when "Crazay" came out. At least all the stuff made after like '82 or so. EDIT: No, I wasn't around when this was released. Was it in '86 or? Anyways, I was born in '87 so... AND this probably wasn't a big hit over here in Finland I actually hadn't heard the song before. "Crazay" was the lead single from Jesse Johnson's second album, "Shockadelica." It reached No. 2 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart in fall 1986.
I personally don't think most 1980s songs have aged horribly. I would say the ones that are in the initial stages of the digital production age have not fared well because of the mechanical tinkerings. But IMO a lot of Teddy Riley's music (which came in the latter 80s and early 90s) sound more dated than, say, the Steve Arrington-era music Slave made roughly a decade earlier.
