Vanessa Hudgens, the star of the highly successful Disney production “High School Musical,” has found herself in the middle of a nude photo scandal and her publicist has confirmed that the pictures in question are indeed those of the 18-year-old brunette.

According to Vanessa Hudgens’ rep. “This was a photo which was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.”

The Vanessa Hudgens nude photos were reportedly taken for Zac Efron, her current boyfriend and co-star in “High School Musical” but somehow managed to surface on the internet earlier this week.

It is unclear if the photo scandal will damage Hudgens’ clean cut image that has made her an international star and earned her endorsement deals from products like Neutrogena. The Disney produced “High School Musical” and follow up “High School Musical 2” have rocketed its stars to instant fame.

Hudgens’ is currently scheduled to appear in the featured film “High School Musical 3.”

The thing is this girls photos are all over the place, a friend of hers posted them in their Myspace or Facebook site, then they got lifted and posted all over the place. This might be the best thing that ever happened to her. She apparently released an album but I don't think it had "High School Musical" sales numbers (I don't even think it had Aly and AJ numbers!) so music might not be her thing. How far can she really get with "High School Musical". It seems like the media has alreayd made up it's mind that this Zac Effron is the star who can breakout and maybe do something other than Disney movies. Plus there are two words everyone should take note of: Vanessa Williams! She is still around and if anything is a hotter property than ever. I wouldn't doubt if she recorded a song for "Ugly Betty" and it had enough promotion and the right kind of sound, it could be a big AC hit!

These pictures weren't supposed to be shown in public, but like most people who have a brain cramp moment only to regret it later, she's being demonized. There are a lot of women her age doing the same thing and posting their pictures over Myspace and Facebook, and some of those women are trying to get into Playboy. In fact, where do you think they get their talent for the annual college issues? A bunch of older graduate students completing their doctoral theses (nothing against hot, sexy grad students)? In fact, in Europe, you can find a whole bunch of barely legal babes posing as page 3 girls in the tabloids and appearing in FHM, Maxim, Loaded and other magazines topless and usually in the buff. (In Europe, Maxim and FHM allow nudity and cover up only genitalia.) And as for her nude pictures (link is here, ,definitely NSFW), she looks great. Her breasts are nice and firm, she got a little bit of curve to her body, and she has a great figure for her age - just the type of body that most hogh school and college guys want to do nasty sex with in the first place.

As for Disney, I can see why they would chicken out and can her from their productions, but they should be more ashamed for putting right wing propaganda trash masquerading as movies on the airwaves, ditching Michael Moore, and keeping trash like According To Jim on the air for so long.

this whole thing isn't even about her. this was a stunt to protect zac efron's sexual identity. disney won't fire her. if anything they put her up to this. they want their new hot male star to be a star for a while.

This type of let's pair up our gay co-star with his gorgeous co-star for the publicity has been going on since the days of Tab Hunter and Richard Chamberlain. Zack Ephron is an investment - the powers-that-be at Disney will do anything they can to protect that investment.

Some weeks just seem like everything is about actors or singers hiding in the closet and I guess this is one of those weeks. When a movie is released there of course is a great deal of publicity done by the stars of the film. Well this film is no different, and actually may even be subjected to more publicity than is normal. So, on a publicity tour the actors are asked the same questions over and over and basically can just sleep through their responses. Almost every media outlet from the very biggest to the tiniest gets their chance at the actors. There are so many reporters and questions the actors get used to saying the same thing repeatedly, and a new angle can trip them up. Such was the case this past week when a freelance reporter asked a question to an A list television but B list film actress about one of her cast mates. He asked the question in such a brilliant way that she didn't immediately realize that she had outed the B- list film actor, but B+ in name recognition. The studio publicist did realize it immediately since they are paid to hopefully pay attention. A lock down of sorts occurred and the reporter wasn't allowed to leave until something could be worked out. There was no way this studio was going to have that information come out and of course not the actor or his people. Meanwhile, the actress wasn't all that freaked out about it, and said that everyone knew anyway so what was the big deal. The reporter knew he had a goldmine and turned it into a nice healthy payoff, plus a whole bunch of other promises from everyone else which should make the reporter a tidy profit in work and money. Well something def went down with Amanda Bynes and Zac, because she was booked to be on the Teen Choice Awards, but at the last minute she was taken off the guest list since zefron and Hudgens were going to be there.
