Spice Girls land all-star choreographer

The Spice Girl have hired choreographer to the stars Adam Shankman to help make their comeback tour a spectacular affair.

Victoria Beckham reportedly used her newfound Los Angeles connections to recruit Shankman, who worked on the recent Hairspray movie, and is a judge on So You Think You Can Dance.

A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror: "Adam will be starting rehearsals in October in LA. He has a lot of experience in film, and has done music videos for everyone from Paula Abdul to Janet Jackson.






"The Spice Girls were very lucky to get him."

Shankman will be a busy man in the build up to the tour, which starts in December - the band haven't toured in 12 years, and four of the five are now mothers.

He was one of the guest judges on this past season's "So You Think U Can Dance." show. He choreographered one of the shows opening routines that looked similar to "Hairspray". He seems like a cool guy from the show.

I just hope Posh goes back to brunette for the tour. She doesn't make a hot blonde at all but she was the hottest thing ever when she had dark hair. Maybe she had a lot of bad plastic sugery and the blonde hair highlights it more?

i don't care who does the choreography. i'll be at the la show!

the LA date and the San Jose dates pose a conflict with tori amos's dates in this area. i may have to go to the vancouver show on the 2nd of December since there is no tori show that night.

tori has me booked on: 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 15, 16 december...so far

the spice girls website doesn't really say a lottery is what they're doing. it simply says "register for a chance to see the spice girls conert." that could mean they'll have a presale, it could mean they'll have a contest, it could mean a lotto...or it could simply mean they will send you info about the onsale.
