I recently got a good compilation by him,it's titled 'Love Songs' and contains many of my favorite songs by him...
"Let Me Know" (1984) "We're Going All The Way" (1983) "We Both Deserve Each Other's Love" (1978) (L.T.D. featuring Jeffrey Osborne) "On The Wings Of Love" (1982) it contains only ballads,so it doesn't have my other favorite song by him,the uptempo "Plane Love" (1983).Still,it's a good place to start

I'm not a big fan of compilations, but i would highly recommend "The Ultimate Collection from Hip-O. That's one of the best compilations out there. very complete, all the hits from Jeffery, no fillers!

"Baby Stay With Me Tonight" is probably the song I like best from him and it ain't even that hot itself. He needed his ass beat for making a song like.....and you woo woo woo....and you woo woo woo.....you should be mine. Oh hell naw. He should have stayed with LTD. Andy is a four letter word.

He just released an album of cover songs entitled "From The Soul" like two years or so ago. I really enjoyed it, he had the single "I'm Ready" and "Hey Girl", good album, but everyone else is right, check out L.T.D. but he does have some good solo stuff. He's one of my favorite male vocalists. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

You can't go wrong with his first two solo albums or any of his work with L.T.D.. You should also check out his Live DVD, it's very good and you can find it on Amazon.com. Here's Jeffery singing my two favorite solo joints of his:

I think Jeffrey's record company tried to market him as a Luther-type artist. He had funky stuff on his solo albums, but they weren't released as singles. I don't think that he has ever spoken publically about why he left LTD. I know he co-wrote many hits for them, but am not sure what really went on. I'm pretty sure it probably had to do with money. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

He should have done some jams similar to what LTD did after he left the group. "Kickin' Back" was the baddest thing they ever did. Andy is a four letter word.

It is the funkiest thing LTD did after Jeffrey left. It is on the same album as "Kickin' Back". "Cuttin' It Up" was a BIG hit in Dallas in the 80s. "Kickin Back" is the funkiest L.T.D. jam of all! I remember that one. They also had a cool slow jam in 1981 after Jeffrey left....it's called "April Love"
