I am a cliche. Know only their most famous songs. And love most of them.

I forgot how much I liked them until the tour this year, which inspired me to go buy their box set & start making mix CDs.

They sure were hot in their day...amazing live band too. Sadly this year's tour was not that great, that amazing telepathic tightness they used to have could not be replaced with a month's rehearsal.

I've got MESSAGE IN A BOX, the box set that came out back in the 90's. Is that considered the definitive Police collection or does this new Greatest Hits 2 CD set have different stuff on it?

Peace..

The reunion tour came off as very uninspired.

went to the show in CT in July, the show was great....people shouldn't comment on shows they did not attend...

I saw them at Bonnarroo and was dissapointed. But then ?uestlove and the Philadelphia Experiment played later that night and saved my weekend.

Never much of a Police fan, but I did see them live in Dallas in 1983 or so. After the show was over, I could see the band exiting the arena, and I saw Sting and Stewart Copeland get in a fist fight.

I really couldn't believe I saw what I did until I heard other people talking about it on the radio.

Apparently, they hated each other's guts.

Torrents are readily available. So it's pretty easy to listen to many shows.
