Lets not 4get his infamous beef with ARETHA FRANKLIN, you have to either be a damn fool or,,,,,a DAMN fool in order to mess with that woman  At least both friendships were intact long after the feuds were over. 
BTW, Luther's biggest f*** up as a producer/songwriter was telling Aretha how to sing a song that he co-wrote for her. THAT'S like Timbaland trying to tell Prince how the play a piano!!!!  He even had to the nerve to confront her about his credit of makeing her comeback(The Jump To It album)
