I don't have her '87 or recent albums so I wouldn't be qualified to say. But your tracklist looks pretty kickin'.

For the longest time,I've been saying that Sheila E. (as well as The Time) deserves a "Best of" CD,it's long overdue. Here is how the tracklist should look...
Sheila E's "Greatest Hits"--- "The Glamorous Life"(album version) "The Belle Of St.Mark" "Noon Rendezvous" "Erotic City"(with Prince & The Revolution) "Sister Fate" "A Love Bizarre"(album version) "HollyRock" "Bedtime Story" "Hold Me" "Koo Koo" "Sex Cymbal" "Droppin Like Flies" "Funky Attitude" BONUS TRACK: "Girl Power" (previously unreleased)

I Dig Her alot&She has Madd Skills but lets be real on Her:She only has 3 songs that folks Generally speaking care about"Glamourus Life,A Love Bizarre&Erotic City which give or take is more Prince associated than Her.I dobt Seriously Warner's would tap a Greatest Hits out on her.I Enjoy Her Playing&the Styles She brought to the table but as a Artist? Hell NAW!! She Herself is better suited playing behind other people.Prince had Her in a Female Morris Day Personna that worked for a minute but got Boring&it cost Her some Crediblity.but She Made up for it on the "Sign O The Times" TOur&Film IMHO.now The Time they should have one easily they got Jams folks would buy.but Shelia during Her Prince Association had some Hits& but alot of Misses overall&since She left nothing really to get you going IMHO.She can Play but that doesn't make a Great Artist or Best of Worthy IMHO.and I say that about Many Acts. mistermaxxx

That song sounds very Prince-like.I also love the song "Whatcha Gonna Do",which sounds very Santana-like.

I'll add "Dear Michaelangelo", the synth intro of this song is a dream, too bad the "Love Bizarre" version of Romance 1600 is too long (& soon boring imo)

I liked her version of Lady Marmelade which now it looks like it could have been a hit for her if it was promoted as a single. ______________________________________________
