Fact is, Chaka always sounded natural doing Sly's music and Billie(esp the Decca/1940s era) would've clicked just right with Duke's deep bass sound I don't know why that collaboration never took place.

Prince wants to produce, write, and sing on all his stuff and Mariah has written and produced many of her songs also. They both seem like perfectionist with it comes to their music. Plus, their offspring would have the most record-breaking high notes and falsettos known to man. I can just see it now. You don't see my Mariah/Prince "collaboration" vision?

Actualy, Prince did produce and write for Mariah - the song didn't make it to Glitter though and I wonder why.
