She can really sing, when she's not hollering, which is rarely I know, but she's an overall good artist. I take that you don't like the song.

lol, no. But as someone said it's like she lost her voice. I remeber loving her when she first come about. But there was this song, and also "unbreakable" which where just... bleah, becasue of her voice.

I agree. I didn't like Unbreakable because of her voice either.

I agree that a lot of the blame should to go to her record company for promoting her as the Mozart of popular music. She is bland, boring, and attractive. Three characteristics essential to succeeding in this business, it seems. I miss entertainers being daring.

She's a very good performer though. I think that adds alot to her success.

I've seen excellent live performers, and she is still a sloppy, unpolished performer. I saw her perform good "ONCE". The arrangement of the songs of that MTV performance was dreadful and I Looooove "Freedom". Her timing was off, and she was pitchy as usual. Prince makes that stuff look too easy. She doesn't know how to control herself vocally or performance wise. It doesn't look natural. But then again she doesn't have to try hard because "she plays the piano" and acts deep, and she's attractive, so therefore that equals genius for some folks. EVERYTIME I read an interview with her she really thinks she is some music savior goddess. Outside of John Mayer, I just don't get these 20-something performers. I just feel like I'm watching a bunch of out of control children with no home training, playing dress-up. Big Yawn-fest. zzz

I get what your saying as far as her controlling her voice, but I still think she has a lot of energy and great stage presence.
