I was on a big Enchantment trip last month - I must've listened to "Where Do We Go From Here", "It's You That I Need", "Sunshine" and "Gloria" almost every night for about two weeks straight.

Emanuel Johnson's voice and arranging skills are simply amazing

Very underrated group. They get lost in the shuffle with the Delfonics, Moments, Stylistics hell even the Main Ingrediant.

i saw them last weekend in DC (see my thread about the singer Blue Magic having a nervous breaksown on stage). First of all, I LOVE Enchantment...but Emmanuel's voice can't handle those high notes anymore live. I guess the best way to compare it is Whitney trying to sing I Will Always Love You--the live version never quite compares to the studio. That being said, I would still take these kats over any current group and they can probably still beat most of the old school circuit acts, except the Stylistics and Whispers.

oh, and emmanuel has that Musiq thing going on with his eye--you know, "to the left, to the left--everytime you look your eye's to the left"..that's why he wear's
