Jessica Lange and Michelle Pfeiffer can still act. But they can't open a movie anymore. I don't doubt she can sing, she can. But you know as well as I do that her youth and her looks have a lot to do with how well she's sold. She'll never be as popular as she is currently. She wants to extend that window as long as she can. She'll be around, but not at the current level. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

why does she have to shriek!? R&B shouldnt have to shriek! Lemme guess, was it the song where she told the guy she was with to not let the other man take her away from him or something like that because she was shrieking in that one. Or was it "Listen"? Bee can sing but she overdoes it. i have no fucking idea. all i know is that its a fucking single with remixes on it and it just repeats and repeats.

You don't have to like her, but she's exceptionally talented when placed with artists of her generation. True, she overdoes it with exposure, like getting herself on the most beautiful spanish list when she aint got a hint of latina in her, but if she's making music and putting it out there without any controversies, why not? Don't people here bitch about lindsay, paris and the like never being about the music? Here's someone who is, and people are still not satisfied.
Ummm..that's because the internet was not around, there weren't 50-11 gossip magazines and tv shows. This is a different era. The masses did not have 24/7 access to what a celebrity was doing 20, 30 years ago. When Prince and Madonna were at the height of their careers, you had to get all your celebrity information from one of the monthly entertainment magazines, which meant the news was already at least a month old by the time that you read it. Now you can find out the lastest celebrity happenings minutes after it happens. I am pretty sure that Prince would have gotten slammed if the internet was around back in his heyday when he was putting out an album a year, releasing b-sides, extended versions of singles, 12 inches, making movies, protege acts, side gigs, etc...if his face was splattered over every other magazine cover, if he endored a bazillion products, performed at every major award show, etc...he would have most likely gotten criticized.

we need her to gggggooooo away....damn!! ...or she can fall down the steps again and knock herself into a fifteen-year coma. One can only hope. At this rate she’ll be burnt out before 30. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Yu may have a point. It seems she is trying to make as much money as possible whilst she is still young so that she can relax in the future.
