It was called "I Sweat(Going Through The Motions)". Love That Song! She also made a video for this song called "Transformations".

That woman has been so many transformations musically and culturally, if she was white (and a man), she'd been revered like David Bowie.
I mean this proud black woman was at one time a member of a prominent girl group in the sixties, then the chief songwriter and co-leader of an all-female funk trio that was obviously the same group with a different name and one member absent, then when she went solo she did all sorts of genres that fit HER. To call her a legend is understating the point.

Seek-out "Female Trouble," from about 1987 if you can. It's available used at Amazon, prices varying on condition, of course. Like her, the album is way underrated.
Why it rocks: 'Big Fun' co-written with Dan Hartman. 'Winds of Change' a beautiful song written for N. Mandela and features Bernie Worrell and Peter Gabriel. 'Why Should I Cry' produced by Jellybean Johnson was a minor hit (also has Jam & Lewis AND Jerome Benton playing on the song) http://www.youtube.com/wa...7I1cppkZu4 'Rhythm of Change' has Jimmy Jam on keyboards 'Baby Go-Go' wriiten by... yep, PRINCE (aka J. Coco), also features Mavis Staples and George Clinton The album opens with 'I Know What You Need,' one of my favorite songs ever! I cannot recommend "Female Trouble" enough!!!!
