I never realized Edgar Winter played the sax and played the drum solo (or part of it)...I always envisioned him playing guitar and being backed up by like 11 guys lol (and I have no clue if he even plays guitar lol)

He's a talented cat for sure.
Prior to the release of Frankenstein, his group was a bigger band that included a horn section...

...Edgar Winter's White Trash.

The album included Give It Everything You Got which has always been a favorite of mine.
The song Dying To Live, also from that record, was sampled by Eminem for a track he produced called Runnin'.

Along with Edgar Winter himself, that's an impressive front line on that clip.

Dan Hartman (bass):
Went on to have a decent career as a solo artist and producer.

Credits include The Plasmatics, Nona Hendryx, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Paul Young, .38 Special, Grandmaster Flash & James Brown.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Rick Derringer (guitar):
Originally a member of the 60s group The McCoys (Hang on Sloopy).
Prior to joining Edgar's group, he'd been playing with Edgar's brother guitar legend Johnny Winter...

...Johnny Winter And (an overlooked dual guitar record)

This record includes the definitive version of the classic tune Rock & Roll, Hoochie Koo.

His most popular solo release...

...All American Boy

He's also racked up some notable guitar/production credits which include artists as diverse as Steely Dan, Todd Rundgren, Barbra Streisand, Cyndi Lauper & Artie Traum.
