If you guys don't know the new M.I.A record (Kala) is FIIIRRREE!! It's so damn good. I don't think there is one bad track on there, and it's great to workout to. Hopefully you guys will peep it.

I don't know...I didn't love it on first listen. Not catchy enough. But I'm hoping it's kind of a grower.

Okay, this album has been my musical highlight of the summer (other than Feist's cd, since Planet Earth was a bit underwhelming)

First off, as a Baltimore native, I love that M.I.A. takes all the best elements of "B-more club music", but doesn't overdo it or become repeititious. XR2, Boyz and World Town almost force you to throw your hands up.

I also really admire the mid-eastern touches she incorprates in Come Around (my favorite track!! and some of Timbalands best producing) and of course Jimmy (which is pure fun!)

This album is the happy colorful ray of sunshine I needed in my life right now
I just love it!

Only tracks I'm not feeling are:
Bird Flu (it's um, too much ) and
20 dollar (just no doing anything for me)

I love Kala! I think it's a great album and I like it more than Arular. The only track I'm not feeling is Bird Flu.

LOVE IT! omggggg its GREAT!!! at first i was like waaa??, to some songs (bamboo banger being one - the intro of it had me scratchin my head) but buy the second listen i was SOLD! dare i say better than arular? lol maybe maybe!

shes gon be @ terminal 5 in ny in october, hope i can go see her (fuggin missed her @ siren AND studio B grrrrr)
