1. "Smack That" Akon (smack what? the ass? lousy voice, lousy song)
2. "Baby Mama" (don't know who sings this, but the lyrical content is atrocious)
.

U better not be talking about Fantasia's "Baby Mama"

U got the nerve. u gets da boo

It's about time we had our own song
Don't know what took so long
Cuz now-a-days it like a badge of honor
To be a baby mama
I see ya payin' ya bills
I see ya workin' ya job
I see ya goin' to school
And girl I know it's hard
And even though ya fed up
With makin' beds up
Girl, keep ya head up
All my

[Chorus]
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
This goes out to all my baby mamas
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
I got love for all my baby mamas

I see you get that support check in the mail
Ya open it and your like "What the Hell"
You say "This ain't even half of daycare"
Sayin to yourself "This here ain't fair"
And all my girls who don't get no help
Who gotta do everything by yourself
Remember: What don't kill you can only make you stronger
My baby mama...

[Chorus]
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
This goes out to all my baby mamas
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
I got love for all my baby mamas

Cuz we the backbone (of the hood)
I always knew that (that we could)
We can go anywhere, we can do anything
I know we can make it if we dream
And I think it should be a holiday
For single mothers tryin' to make a way
But until then
Here is your song
Show love to my....

Have we forgot about the guys (D4L) that bought us the classic "Laffy Taffy" abd "Bet'cha Can't Do It Like Me."

Or what about Lil' Jon's "Get Low."

Or anything by the Ying Yang twins "the Whisper Song."

Thank God is right my friend. Myself, I've only heard them once or twice and that's enough for me (enough to make my ears bleed).

I actually just came from viewing their documentary "Shut Up And Sing"...and I FUCKING LOVE "Not Ready To Make Nice"...what they endured disguised as backlash was absolute INSANITY, these women are MOTHERS of young babies disbelief. Fucking murderous rednecks threatening to kill them behaving no differently than the Taliban or Saddam Hussein, yet supporting a cause to bring democratic freedom such as the FREEDOM OF SPEECH to the countries we went to war with, oh the IRONY hrmph

freedom of speech has nothing to do with it...they can say whatever the hell they want, but should concidder the consequences beforehand. Just to be clear, i couldn't care less about what they said about bush...Kriss kristofferson and merle haggard recorded anti-bush songs too and I bought those albums, even though I don't agree with the messages of those songs...

with the dixie chicks, it's their comments about their fans (i.e me) that did it! If you want to call your fans idiots for buying your music, you are free to do so...you have the right to say that. just as I have the right from that moment on not to buy their crap anymore...that's called 'the free market'. I don't live in a trailer, but even I found that comment rude and distasteful. Same goes for their comments about country music as a whole. complete disrespect for the people that supported them.

what would any fan say if the artist they admire suddenly said: "well my fans are total idiots,...now that I got their cash I don't need them anymore" (copyright: the dixie chicks) . Well if my money ain't good enough for them, they ain't gettin' it!

I know first hand about this as my mom did the same coming from a poor, broken family

and still stand strong even though they arent taking care of themselves.

What does that mean "still stand strong"?

I hope it means taking responsibility for their mistake. A child born from promiscuous behavior by a 14 or 15 y.o. is not “a badge of honor”. Too many times have I seen young girls pushing a baby carriage jaywalking while on the cell phone, sometimes with a toddler trotting behind her, or just plain destroying their future. This is the backbone of the hood as your lyrics suggest? I'm sorry, I have a hard time giving the song credit. And I am speaking of teen mothers as the song suggests, (in the song, you can hear the “babymamas” supposedly calling in).

Don't get me wrong, I totally respect and understand the unfortunate situations some girls are in (i.e. rape, being abused, etc.) but now we are reading TOO DEEP into the song.

My comment is specifically about THE SONG. It's not well made and its message is misguided. C'mon 13 and 14 year olds wearing their babies as badges of Honor? You gotta be kidding me. I feel sorry mostly for the babies who are the real victims. Need I remind you of the many stories you've seen on the news of teen mothers dumping their babies in the trash or even murdering them??

So poof, vamoos sun of a ...

Hostile aren't we? No need for this, instead I wish you peace.

That is all I will say about this bad, bad song. "POOF!" Now I'm gone..

No offense, but, that song is why I hate "Future Baby Mama", right there. I found this rendition of "Fantasia's" a bit atrocious. I'm no snob in anyway, but the song sucked. I can't read too much into it because, it really isn't necessary. Not for this song, anyway. shrug

nah I took it as u calling me a 12 year old. Im 25 so hell...i felt like u belittled me for liking that song.

it doesnt have to be so negative either. Some women do have children with the father saying they are going to be there, and then the father ends up leaving them. My mother had me and my brother on purpose and when my father left we really didnt have a place to go. So on the other note "baby mamas" are somewhat the "backbone" of the hood listen to "Dear Mama" by 2Pac. In that song he was stating how even though she was fucked up b4 she did everything she could to raise her children and put them before herself. Thats what I mean by 'still stand strong'. As in they dont breakdown or give the children up and leave them.

So no I don't agree with teenage mothers and girls who think all they are worth is to have a child. Yet it doesnt paint a wholesome good picture either

I see you get that support check in the mail
Ya open it and your like "What the Hell"

My baby mama...

She's just trying to uplift women who are in the situation. No one is really there to support them other than the government. But I agree that if you have the nerve to lay in the bed unprotected you get what u deserve wink
