Billie Jean Houston-Minniapolis?

I was at The Vicotroy Tour in '84 when he came to Houston. It's been alife of memories to see one of the best shows ever put together by humanity.

But theonly drawback is I can't remeber or relive it. Well that's not so.According to this wideo this is one of the Billie Jean performances in Houston. All looks great but it doesn't look like Houston.

The firsst few minutes where they are showing the people talking and the stage being put together looks like Minniapolis. I say that cause that's where The Metrodome supposedly is right?

So that leaves the performance. I'm not sure if the performance part is in HOuston. If you can catch shot of the stadium performing it does look really stacked and high like The Astrodome is. But back in those days there were no seats behind where the stage was.

I went Novmber 9th. This has to be November 10th cause at the end when he throws the hat it doesn't go very far. The night I went the hat went 5 o r 6 rows into the audience. It was caught by a black girl and she was ll loud and crazy. I could here her from the top of the Astrodome. Another thign I always remember was the hat exploding at the end. Could havesworn it had firecrackers in it.

Anyway if it is it would be cool cause I was at the show where he has the famous footage of him throwing the hat.

There are only 3 concerts out there from the Victory Tour:
Dallas
New York City
Kansas City(opening night)

None are in great quality. Dallas is the best quality, but that's not really saying much. I was trying to find what software was used on the "remastered" videos of Prince because I wanted to improve it lol

Well the Dallas concert is in bad quality. You're tellin me they get worse?

I didn't know that they recorded any other concerts. Well The Houston oncert wasn't recorded but Billie Jean apparently was.

This is odd cause everything Michael Jackson does is of highest quality. I find it odd that The Victory and Triumph concers are in such poor shape.

That's because the Victory Tour shows that are circulating were bootlegged. Some guy found a connection to the big screen transmission and recorded them on tape. He was later arrested but the tapes are still out there. MJ fans need to learn how to improve video quality.

The Triumph Tour video was owned by a video company and someone found it.

Michael DOES have all the concerts from the Triumph, Victory, Bad tour shows in great quality. He's just being stubborn lol

That IS Official. That was shown in Japan on the NHK Network back in September 1987. The channel ran 4 of the 14 shows he did in Japan in 1987:
Yokohama
Tokyo
Tokyo(another show)
Osaka

It's the 1988-1989 shows that HAVEN'T been shown on TV

He gave them the rights to show the concerts. He uses the shows to critique his performance every night. the States only showed the HBO special back in 1992. Various concerts like Japan, Britain, Germany. Australia, New Zealand have bought the rights to concerts. He has every concert from 1981 to 2001 recorded and stored in his vault

That would take alot of space you would think. I mean if every artists does that there'd be mounds of tape.

I have the Dallas & Kansas City Victory boots, and I have one of the Truimph boots but it's not the whole show. I wish there was a boot of the second leg of the Destiny tour, with MJ and his bros. doing stuff from Off The Wall. I've seen some footage of this and it sounded a whole lot funkier than on the Truimph tour.

Prince probably does it too. Michael has alot of material. Motown has a full album in the vaults from 1973 or 1974 by Michael that was produced by Stevie Wonder.

That's RARE lol That concert is out there, but since so many fans don't really care about anything before 1982.....you know the deal lol
This particular concert, there's only about 30 minutes out there. There's some fans I know who are on the hunt, including me cool
