You got me on this one here cuz, I didn't dig it that much, it's not bad.
It was hard listening to something like this from a group that produced some classic hard funk, and jazzy grooves was a killer. Although i liked the Outlaw LP i cringed at times whenever i heard "You Got The Power" and a couple of other tunes. I guess i didn't want them to go disco, calypso on me. The Jungle (Medley) A. Beware It's A Jungle Out There ...was my joint. [Edited 8/24/07 22:45pm]

The Jungle (Medley) A. Beware It's A Jungle Out There ...was my joint. Wait a minute, is that song on the "Outlaw" album? Was it a song comparing the ghetto to a jungle? If I'm thinking of the same song, I had always thought it was recorded by Kleeer on the album that Rick James worked with them on. I bought the Kleeer album and the song I was looking for wasn't on it. Then I wondered if it was on The Stone City Band album with "Ladies Choice". Come to think of it, the song I'm thinking of was played a few times on the radio in 1983 but not much. Of course, if the song I'm thinking of is from War and is on the "Outlaw" album, the local DJs may have picked it up late and started playing it. Andy is a four letter word.

does anyone know why the 'Outlaw' CD is out of print? It was re-mastered in 1995 and was available for a few years then it just disappeared.I didn't even have a chance to buy it!
