You're right. Also, I remember you and I were talking in a thread earlier this year about how DJs these days are putting Technotronic and stuff like it in the mix. And you were like, "well it's because the DJs these days are our age." And you're right.

DJs like Mark Ronson, etc. are folks our age and they reflect what we like to listen to. I really don't feel a disconnect with Mark Ronson because he knows what's up with the music of today and it ain't on some "oh, everything sucks, blah, blah, blah." HE KNOWS ABOUT THE GOOD SHIT OF TODAY and that's why I like his show.

It's pretty refreshing.

And I must say, I'm enjoying this whole era of DJing/club mixing way more compared to 7 years ago.

To be dead honest, I'm loving this current era of music. I still miss 2006 because the music that was coming out that year blew my mind. There are artists that came out in the last several years that I cannot do without. I go to shows all the time, I go out all the time, I haven't bought this many CDs, albums in my life.

I'm not one of those kids who wishes to be "born in a different time" or go back to the 70s or 80s or some shit. Just put it in a playlist, wear some throwback Nikes and be done with it. lol
