Nicely written, sir. I saw the opening night of this tour a few months back. I walked in cold, knowing next to nothing about Frank and absolutely zero about his son, and I was pretty leery. Frankly I expected to be bored stiff by three hours of jazz-fusion wankery, but I totally enjoyed myself - so much so that exploring Frank Zappa has elbowed its way to the top of my musical priorities.
