i don't like justin timberlake althought
he indeed have some realy good songs.
so what if he's playing with prince's
ex band members,
he have a right to do that.
and is not fair to say that he is ripping off prince because he is only influanced by prince.

when you say somebody ripped of something in terms of music,you can say prince stole papa got a brand new beg opening riff.
so what if he backed out of janet superbowl scandal.it's only human reacton to be scared maybe music executives forced him to do that.
one thing i know he is realy trying to achive something in music world and he is better then a lot of popular artist today.

i made this tread because im so sick of everyday bashing of justin.you call him timberfake but the fact is he is a young very sucessful man.

Yes, he IS a very young successful man.

But Bob The Builder was a successful hit.
Westlife have had huge hits.

It all means nothing.

Justin makes lack-lustre music. He is unoriginal - hence his blatant copying of MJ in his style and music.

Also, he is arrogant. But shouldn't be. Because he is pooh.
Also (again) I cringe at that bit in his latest song... the bit where he sings, "Let me play my funky guitar."
The guy can only play two chords.

I don't mind about being unoriginal. It's the mediocrity that gets me, and the refusal to respectfully acknowledge where he's got certain things from. He dissed Prince in that Timbaland song and when his first album came out he named every artist under the sun as an influence except for Michael Jackson. He tried to pretend that Frank Sinatra was the one inspiring his image.

When he was interviewed in the US he'd talk in a completely different way to when he came to Europe. He'd change his entire outlook on everything depending on who his audience was and what would get the best reaction. In the US he'd namecheck James Brown and Donny Hathaway, in the UK he'd ramble on about Radiohead and talk about considering himself English just because he once found out that he had a great great great great grandfather who once stepped on the island. That my friend, is a straight up fake.

hes ugly as hell and he thinks hes hot. he has a nerdy face and dresses like shit. he looks like a stupid teenager trying to look cool.

Timberlake's talent is roughly the equivalent of young Janet Jackson, Bobby Brown, Jordan Knight, etc. Can't really sing, write, or play, but is young, can dance a bit, photographs well, and most importantly, completely dependant on the fakery of the Hollywood hype machine.

Unfortunately, for us, Timberlake is in an era where there are no real musicians in the game to keep his ego in check. You would never see Boy-Bander's stepping at real cats like Prince back in the day. They knew where their place was. The worst thing about Timberlake is that he doesn't know how fake he is. That's why he get's grief from those of us that know better. And I didn't even mention the fake-azz, stealing beats off the 'net producer Timbaland...

yeah whats going on in the US? its always been real talented people the ones that made it and now u have this nerd and britney...ppff...

Dude's unoriginal, not particularly talented (if we're going to stick with boybanders, I can think of a few who are better singers/performers than this kid) completely dependent on producers, rips off other artists' shtick without acknowledging where it came from, tries to pick fights with his olders and betters, let Janet take all the blame for Tittygate, and as for his looks? He's average looking at best. If you can't be talented, you should at least be hot, and he's not really either.

I think if Justin wasn't so fake and was actually especially talented at one thing instead of just being mediocre at everything then I would have more respect for him as an artist and a person. I will admit that both of his albums are solid but I think that's due more to Pharrell and Timbaland than anything else. It's not like the dude is some great talent and he has got to be one of the least charismatic "superstars" i've ever seen.

I took my younger cousin to meet him at TRL late last year because she's a fan and he looked so average in person. He was very skinny, pale and shorter than I thought he would be. The only thing he has going for him is that he has a nice smile but other than that he is VERY average looking. You wouldn't look at him twice if he wasn't famous. He was also acting very phony that day (suprise suprse). He was all nice to the fans when the camera's were rolling and joking with them and everything but when a music video was playing or we went to commercial break, he would either go backstage until we were back from commercial break or just stand there and ignore people. He just had such an attitude about him. The whole time I was thinking "Who the f*** does think little arrogant punk think he is"? He obviously thinks he's the s*it but someone needs to bring him back down to earth already.

I couldn't stand him before that incident but after seeing him up close I dislike him even more.

He's just a (very) poor man's version of Michael Jackson. He tries to sing and dance like him. I don't see what's the big deal.

Justin Timberlake is a product. He is an average singer, dancer, "songwriter," and "producer." He is boring and bland. Perfect for the ignorant masses.
