The Beauty Of Grace Jones

I have noticed on this org that people find Vanity , Mani , Mayte , Shelia , and others to be beautiful and/or sexy. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful but what about Grace Jones. Even though some people may find her very unattractive but to me , she is just as beautiful and sexy as the others. Her exquisite beauty is an class act all it's own. I know that some or all of you here may disagree with me,but I don't really care. Me personally, she is beautiful and in my opinion(you can get mad if you want)she looks better than all of them. Peace and Blessings! cool

Dark, you're on to something. When I was a kid, I found her quite the dish in those Conan and James Bond movies.

I always thought Grace Jones had the most amazing bone structure ever. And even now in her mid-50s she still looks great. She isn't everyone cup of tea and as someone said she could be Fierce with a capital F.

I don't think any other era than the 80s could have created something like Grace Jones as a celebrity. And I don't exactly remember what it was like to watch her on the TV as a child, but I think it was a mixed sentiment of bewilderment, adoration and unintrestedness. Like, as a kid, you didn't really want her to be in all those movies and would have rather seen some other kind of character there instead occupying the creen, but at the same time she was on some level more beautiful than many of the actresses they'd given the female lead roles to.

i think she looks like a sculpture. she's definitely striking, but i can see how some people would think her looks are a bit intense. i think she's gorgeous.

When I was younger I was always scared of her... My mother had that album where
her skin looks Purple. and I use to just sit and stare at that album all the time and then I got a chance to go see her one New Years Eve at the palladium in NYC (her opening act was Deee-Lite) and I've been hooked ever since

I love Grace because she gives a finger to the jacked up standard of beauty that we all face.

I rememberd there was a clip on Youtube where they showed her and Rick James presenting an award for Marvin Gaye at the 1983 Grammys. I don't know if youtube still has the clip or not but it was so funny how Rick was constantly flirting with her and she seemed to want to back away from him. lol I thought it was rude of Rick James where he kept wanting to give her a kiss right there on the stage while Marvin Gaye was giving thanks to his family and others. That goes to show that even Rick James have found her simply breathtaking. wink

Wow, that clip made me touched
Back when music was good and singers could sing and award shows were still fun.

I'm re-dscovering Grace this very moment. A very dear friend played some of her music for me this weekend. I hadn't heard Nipple To The Bottle in at least 20 years. Awesome artist. Breathtaking beauty to me.

Was Rick James just high or did he have something wrong with his ears. And I remember this year like yesterday, music was sooooo good back then.

It's just ashame Rick, Marvin and Luther are no longer with us.

I was thinking about how stunning she is and I wish there was some sort of oversized glossy coffee table book showcasing all of her best photos.
