Anybody Here Like Muse?

Anybody else here like Muse? I've all their albums and have seen them live 3 times - Earl's Court, Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium x 2.

yup, like them a lot. saw them live this year at pink pop festival
in the netherlands where they turned out to be the best band on the
3 day festival, far surpassing headliner The Smashing Pumpkins of
whom i've been a fan since they started, lol.

muse put on a great, wild, rockin show that just rocked the house
down from the get go.

when they came on stage at night and started to play it was like
all the other bands had been just kids in the garage doodling and
here were the professionals showing everyone how it's done.

amazing live band nod
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

nice to see some new music here on the org

and if you notice, hardly anyone responds to threads about new music but those are the same people complaining about the lack of good new music, so they have to create 'old skool' threads or talk about the past a lot

Muse is great

I LOVE Muse. To me, Matt Bellamy is a massively underated talent. He's the closest we've got to a "Prince" in Britain at the moment. I'm not joking

I was listening to "Knights of Cydonia" at full blast before I started work today. When that riff kicks in at the end...hairs on back of neck, big time.

I did a thread a few weeks ago. http://prince.org/msg/8/235500

I think this band is way ahead of their time. Such depth, love the Bach influence and I hear influences everytime I listen.

Well everyone has an opinion but I heard that exact comparison too but when you listen to all of their work, they are so much deeper than that. I'm not saying the Radiohead influence isn't there, I'm saying so is the Queen influence, White Stripes, Bach, T-Rex and a handful of others. Somehow with all of those different sounds it's all unique to a consistent sound known as Muse.

Like Coldplay, they started off influenced by Radiohead and now have they're own thing going. For the record, I hate coldplay though, and snow patrol. Bland
