If I want to get into Latin Music... more of the salsa and cuban variety - like the kinda stuff you hear walking in Miami beach - where do I start? Marc Anthony? Celia Cruz? Luis Miguel, Ricky Martin's spanish stuff?

Yeah depening on where you wanna go with it. Def go with Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony (best of) also Hector Lavoe and Willie Colon. For more recent artists though they are well into their 30's for Merengue try Gisselle or Melina Leon, but there is so much stuff to jump into, im more into the POP latin i guess, Paulina Rubio,Shakira but other groups like MANA and tons of others, its really a very talented Genre, i totally stay away from Reggaeton with the Exception of ADASSA and Mayra Veronica, but thats because they are drop dead HOT looking. But of course you cant forget anything Emilio Estefan has worked on, be it, Miami Sound Machine or anyone he has produced.
