Living Colour...STAIN(1993) What do yall think of the Living Colour album STAIN?
I purchased "Vivid", then "Time's Up" and then the "Live at CBGB-1989" album. Then, I bought "Stain." I must say that album was a bit of a jolt for me because it was much darker than their previous releases. However, I do like the CD as I do the rest of their material. My favs are "Go Away", "Mind Your Own Business", "Wall", "3 Little Pigs" and "WTFF"

I tried hard back in the day to make myself like Living Colour (I had loved Vernon Reid's first solo album that was released in 1996), but just had to admit I couldn't bring myself to really appreciate their music. If I remember correctly, "Stain" was probably the one I could somewhat tolerate as a listening experience.

Nothingness is one of the most beautiful songs of the '90s. Loved that album back in the day.
I like most of it, Auslander is a cool song. The beginning of This Little Pig is awesome. Never Satisfied is a great song. Yay, I'm listening to it now. Thanks

Oh, and did you know the b-side of Leave It Alone had a cover of 17 Days, a faster tempo than Prince's version but still cool

It's probably one of my all-time top favorites. test

nothingness.. damn that song is brilliant man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
