Girls Aloud "Sexy NO NO NO!" Video

Yet again the Girls are back, with a new single out in September and their fifth cd out in later October, they are back. The first single is a very edgy dance track unlike their more pop sound, but its a progression that the Girls told their fands they were gonna make after the last record, they also made a "promise" to fans that they would not have any cover songs on this record, their first four albums featured 1-2 songs that were covers. I picked up on the Girls as their third album came out "CHEMISTRY" and just fell for them, not only because they are pretty damn hot, but they actually all have such bizarre and different personalities and are really funny too and not puppets, theyve been known to kick some ass too. The girls have actually never missed the top 5 with a single, this song now if it makes the top 5 would be their 16th straight in the UK, they have already broken the record for any Girl Group. And dont think "oh thats just the UK" its actually more competitive in the UK since there arent different charts like here in the USA where there is a chart for everything. Girls Aloud main success is in the UK but have released in other countries, they just rapped a tour which was their third or fourth, and will tour again next year for the new album, there are NO plans for any US distribution of their music, so if u want them, its Import time, and its worth it. I am actually glad they havent come to the US, though i think they would be a breath of fresh air, America would just try to AMERICANIZE their sound, i can hear it now...Timblaland mixing them, that would be the end!

Yeah, the appeal of that thing. It's like five posh spices in one girl band, and whilst I can appreciate a good pop song that one is far from well-written or performed in my opinion. What is that "No! NO! No!" -part supposed to be anyway?

Well this is their first "edgy" type of song, almost everything else they have done has been straight up Brit-POP, but i dont see them as a Spice Girl type of group, mainly because the Spice Girls to me seemed more like they were playing parts, where as i think Girls Aloud are a bit more serious about themselves and have learned from the Spice Girls mistakes. The Girls have had many different looks, trust me, they may look, posh like in that video, but they are far past her.

I think the goal with Girls Aloud now is to be more mature sounding with the music, harder edged, I mean they are now all in their mid to later 20's so its time to change the music that they are making. also i think there is more indentity in the group, each has a voice that blends with the other, quite strangely sometimes, u almost dont know which member is singing, though most of the lead is handled by Nadine, all the girls have solos on every song.
