There will never be another one like him! Another underrated talent that died so young and tragic. His three solo albums (including his 1972 live recording) are timeless. My favorite song is Take A Love Song.  Check me out and add me on:

Just listened to his 'Live' album. Diggin' Willie Weeks's bass playin' at the end of 'Voices Inside (Everything Is Everything)'  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Someday We'll be Free, must be his best song ever. I heard he cried after he finished producing that song. It's mainly seen as a civil rights song, but I think when Donny produced that song he was thinking of his own personal struggles regarding his mental illness. IIt's a beautiful, powerful song of hope that always brings a tear to my eye any time I hear it.
