My hope is a for a more "PLAY" type vibe, POP /Dance is the route to go, especially with the US market being the way it is, the RB/Rap collabos are just not where its at anymore.

Whatever You Wanna Do to me is hotter than both the new tracks from Brave so far. I don’t know if it will make a big impact unless the video is crazy or there’s a good remix. Personally, I hate the fact that almost every R&B single is followed up with a remix version.

i think the cover shot was unappealing to people either. and of course people didn't like the change in sound. "Cherry Pie" is hot. "I,Love" , ""Step Into My World".... yeah i think it was a great album that was greatly misguided. i think "Hold You Down" was used as the next single because it was very reminiscent of "All I Have" with L.L. Cool J. and "Get Right" failed to top the charts as expected.

I also figured it was JLo backlash but it didn’t seem like there was much promotion. Yeah the Fat Joe collabo was def suppose to be another LL type thing but it just dragged to me.

Well, we'll see what happens with this one. She's been out of the limelight for awhile. Maybe she can ride off the interest of the tour, El Cantante and Como Ama una Mujer.

Yeah i think its gonna be great, im dieing for a video, Jennifer is yet another example of things getting better with age. I do think the "backlash" to her success was sort of a factor but its like anything else, an artist has their time when they are the "shit" when anything they release people buy, when they get all the play and press. But it kills when people say things like "shes over", are u kidding me, even if this album isnt a huge seller she is still doing things and living, "over" is such a poorly used term with people. Also like u said the sound changes on "Rebirth" through people, i mean there were live musicians on alot of tracks and i dont think mainstream wants that from her at least at the time, I think the Fat Joe song was a huge mistake for a single, i do feel to this day that either "cherry pie"or "Whatever you wanna do" should have been singles, "Whatever" could have been a smoking hot video, just from JLO's line "I got out with a Cat-walk stride, Short Skirt, Golden Brown thighs, Gucci Heels, 4 inch high"!. Holy crap that right there would have been worth a video.
