Before Justice came on, the stage was being assembled. Everything is for show - the amps weren't actually on and the equipment around the cross was mainly just for show. However, it did look fucking cool. Once put together, they lit it like this and played really ominous soundscapes while we waited.



Then Justice came on, opening with Genesis, and gave one of the best live shows I've ever seen. This is as the lights suddenly shone up as the main beat for Genesis kicked in.



After that it kinda got a bit mental, but I did manage to get a video of the next song during a calmer moment.



They also covered Chemical Brothers (We are your Friends) and Fat Boy Slim (Renegade Master). They're truly amazing, and very cool. One of them dances and makes crosses with his arms, the other is such a chiller, always looking down and smoking - so cool. They're so french too.

Great gig.

Yeah, I saw them on MTV2's Subterranean. They got an 80's electro throwback, but it doesn't sound that bad. In fact, I think it's pretty darn cool. And the video with the animated T-shirts was awesome too.

Have you heard of an artist affilated with the Justice / Ed Banger crew named Kavinsky? He has a really cool vibe, too, and the Dead Cruiser EP is pretty dope. I saw him spin live back in June. Here's a pic of him spinning from that night:



He did a lot of Ed Banger faves like Mr Oizo's Transexual, Teenage Bad Girl, played the MSTRKRFT remix of Justice's D.A.N.C.E. I was kraking my neck so hard that night. Left the place dehydrated and exhausted!
