I didn't go into that thread because I don't really know much about Donny Hathaway except for "This Christmas" and "Back Together Again" with Roberta Flack.

I know exactly what you mean about the recent theads on the org lately. Cher isn't really a good example though because she definately deserves more recognition than the threads that have been taking over lately such as Beyonce, 50 Cent, Kanye West, or any of these other dead asses on the current music scene. I pop into those threads sometimes myself though....but only to make a shitty comment.

When you look at the threads you see that many orgers are into the artists that are popular today, so it`s not that strange that people would be more familiar with Cher than Donny Hathaway...

Anyway, i made both threads, and i`m just glad people respond to them and that we can have discussions

I would bet that most people on this site don't even know Donnie's music.
