Songs from old Michael tours.

we ar enow in 2007/ Not only has it been al long time since Micahel has performed but a long time since Michael has performed in America.

The last time we saw Michael in Mainland America was during the 88-89 Bad Tour.
He performed old songs. But the only soncerts I've seen since them have been on television. Those'd be the '92 Bucharest concert and the '97 Munich concert.

I know Michael performs different songs night after night. I want to know has he performed certain songs since the Bad Tour and will he ever afain.

Songs like:
Bad
Heartbrak Hotel
The Way You Make Me Feel
Rock With You
Remember The Time
In The Closet
Dity Dianna
Don't Stop Til You Get Enough
Man In The Mirror
Ghosts

Bad - not performed since early History shows - it was dropped from setlist very early.

Heartbrak Hotel - not performed since the Bad tour

The Way You Make Me Feel - sometime on History tour, mimes however

Rock With You - a few shows on History tour included an Off the wall medley - mimed.

Remember The Time - he has never performed this live - although did a mimed performance in a wheelchair at some awards show

In The Closet - never performed live - unless you count about 30 seconds as part of a medley on History shows - mimed

Dity Dianna - not performed since bad tour second leg

Don't Stop Til You Get Enough - not performed since Triumph tour unless you count the mimed bit of the History Off the wall medly

Man In The Mirror - not performed since the dangerous tour

Ghosts - never performed live

he doesn't change his show up that much from night to night or tour to tour.

sometimes songs are dropped if they aren't working during the course of the tour, but becasue pyro and lights and whatnot it makes it harder to change the setlist during the tour.

What about Human Nature?
Has he ever performed P.Y.T. or Lady In My Life?
Man In The Mirror I thought was a staple he'd never remove.

In the 1992 Live And Dangerous Mtv special(US) they show him swinging on a rope with a king's coat on for some song. I wonder what it was.

Yes. The Brunei concert was awesome because it was all live.

This is my take on Michael tours, once you seen the Bad tour there's no point in watchinmg the subsequent tours. I went to the Bad tour and I watch one or two of the Dangerous concerts on TV, and you know what it was almost like watching the Bad tour all over again, only it wasn't as half as good!!

If you can get the Triumph, Victory Tours and even the The Going Back To Indian Tour lol on DVD your better off watching them, at least you get variety.

It wasn't *all* sung live - the songs that were mimed on the dangerous tour like Jam and Thriller were mimed. Some songs also had his "trick" of cutting in a live vocal at the "ad-lib" (e.g. Man In The Mirror, WYMMF, Earth Song.

This was a warm up gig before the HIStory tour performed for the Sultan's sons birthday, or something like that.

I'd generally agree - although some Dangerous 1st leg shows were excellent - ignoring the mimed numbers - some sets like working day and night, WBSS, Beat It, BJ and MITM were stunning - and the staging and band musicianship was better. But yes, much less fluid and expressive and no question Mikey was at his peak on the Bad 2nd leg. Dangerous 2nd leg was terribe in comparison!

The Brunei Concert wasn't all live, please don't tell stuff you don't know wink

Harbars: your list has got some mistakes in it

Has he ever performed P.Y.T. or Lady In My Life?

No, never.

Did he perform these songs after the Bad Tour?

Bad

Yes, he performed it on the early shows of the Dangerous Tour. Mimed, but the last part was live

Heartbrak Hotel

No, not after the BAD Tour

The Way You Make Me Feel

He performed it on the early shows of the Dangerous Tour, also on some shows on the HIStory Tour, the Royal Brunei Concert and on MSG '01. All of them were mimed, although some parts are live on MSG '01.

Rock With You

[i]Never performed live after the BAD Tour except for the Off The Wall medley on the HIStory Tour (mimed)

Remember The Time

Only performed in a wheelchair in 1993 (mimed - I think it was the Soul Train Awards)

In The Closet

He performed it on the HIStory Tour, mostly mimed.

Dirty Dianna

Never performed live after the BAD Tour

Don't Stop Til You Get Enough

Last performed on the Triumph Tour (1981). Also mimed on the Off The Wall medley and sometimes sang as an interlude on Shake Your Body on the BAD Tour (the chorus)

Man In The Mirror

Last performance was in 2001 on the United We Stand concert. Also performed on the Dangerous Tour and the Royal Brunei Concert

Ghosts

Never performed live

Human Nature

This song is one of the few songs that's always been done live. Performed it at the Dangerous Tour as well as the Royal Brunei Concert. Not on the HIStory Tour though.

Hope this helps ^^

Bad hasn't been performed since the first leg of the Dangerous tour.
Heartbreak Hotel hasn't been performed since the Bad Tour
The Way You Make Me Feel has been performed during the Dangerous and HIStory Tour.
Rock With You was to be on the Dangerous Tour setlist but removed before the tour began. It was part of the Off The Wall medley during the first leg of the HIStory tour.
Remember The Time was on the Dangerous Tour setlist but removed
In The Closet hasn't been performed except for in the intro medley of the HIStory Tour
Dirty Diana hasn't been performed since the Bad tour
Don't Stop Til You Get Enough hadn't been performed since the Triumph Tour. He sang a small bit during the Yokohama concert in 1987. It was then included in the OTW medley during the HIStory Tour
Man In The Mirror wasn't performed during the HIStory Tour except for the Brunei concert.

Bboy: he performed Man In The Mirror on the Dangerous Tour and in 2001 on United We Stand. The Way You Make Me Feel was performed on MSG '01 as well.

Btw, the Scream performance you're talking about was not on the Royal Brunei Concert but on the HIStory Tour concert. There's only a small video available, lemme find it.

Nope, the Royal Brunei Concert was never televised but there is a high quality audio version available. The only video footage available of this concert is a performance of Jam -> http://www.youtube.com/wa...qB_Puch9vc

There is nothing available from the HIStory Tour Brunei Concert except for the compilation video in my last post smile

A Pro Shot video of the Brunei concert is out there, but the fans who have it refuse to share it. Just like the recently leaked Brisbane concert in Bad concert, but certain people outsmarted the greedy bastards lol

He wanted to use the HIStory Tour costume but was not allowed to (as far as I know) so he used the Dangerous Tour one smile

this was a warm up concert - it was intentional not to show any of the new costumes and staging etc before the tour for real kicked off for real later in the year
