Yes, I love that soundtrack!

"Make It Good To Yourself" is one of my fave songs from the album. Actually, I think it's one of my fave James Brown songs ever-period. It's so funky music.

Anything thing with James Brown's name on it released from mid 50's to the mid 1970's is worth buying.

"The Boss" and "Down & Out In New York City" are my favorite cuts here. I'm going to have to buy this soundtrack sooner or later, though! I love the movie (Fred Williamson was the man... cool )

Blasphemy!

Black Caesar is a great movie! It really is a solid film and definitly one of the better films of that genre. Only "Superfly", "Coffy" and "Foxy Brown" are better biggrin.

Apparently, you forgot that "Shaft" falls in that genre.

Black Caesar is one of my favorites of the era, I think the upcoming movie American Gangsta with Denzel Washington and Common as well as Black Ceaser are both based on the same person Frank Lucas, well I think Black Caesar is loosley based on his life, James Brown was supposed to do the soundtrack for Hell Up In Harlem also, not sure what happened but the director turned the material down

Yep, and it if that director didn't turn it down, it would have been one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. But now, it's one of the greatest funk albums of ever made.
