Just got back from seeing Anita Baker live... I just got back from seeing her live at this free concert in Brooklyn and I have to say how incredible she was! Her voice is unbelievable live. She really did sound amazing and looked great too. I never wanted the show to end. She was great with the audience too, very personable. Her voice is so distinctive and unique-NO ONE but NO ONE sings like Anita. If she ever gives another concert in NY I will be the first in line to buy tickets! Love her! Anita Baker, what a rip-off artist. went to go see her at DTE/Pine Knob,Mi. The concert was supposed to start at 8:00, she didn't come on stage till almost 9:30, and she sung only for a little over an hour. man i felt like she got over on her fans in Detroit.  why in God's name do u wanna make me cry | |

I'm STILL pissed about last summer's performance from her at DTE/Pine Knob! We got tickets as a gift last minute to her performance and we spent over two hours sitting on I75! When we finally crawled along with the rest of traffic to the facility and got there, the police had shut it down and were directing traffic back to I75! Talk about pissed!! I was mad as hell!! Now I wouldn't go to see her ass if she was opening for Prince! And you know I'd be there EARLY!! [Edited 8/13/07 22:10pm] | |
