The Barber of Seville.

(Il barbiere di Siviglia) by Gioachino Rossini

Where have you heard this piece? What do you associate with it? What do you know about it? And what do you like or not like about it?

I will forever associate it with this.
I had a cultured upbringing.

I first heard it at home, since my mom raised me on classical music. Not my favorite composition (I prefer Mozart's take on the Figaro play), but whenever I hear pieces of it, it brings back good memories of growing up.

For me I associate it with the movie "Oscar" starrling Sylvestor Stallone... the opening is a great stop-motion animation sequence where the song is sung...

The whole movie uses that theme... love the music and the movie.

That's a better one but it's Alfafa's voice that comes to mind, first. Too bad.
Anyway, now you'll have to do a Looney Tunes classical music thread.

That's wild.

Alfalfa was the first one that came to mind followed by Bugs.
