I dont like that cover, very not Jill, whats with the handbag and the attitude? I would have expected something more classic from Jill, looks like a "dark & lovely hair ad.

I'm diggin' the vibe of the pic & looking forward to the album, but I can't help but think "why the fuck is she holding a purse?" I know it's dumb & part of the "scene" b/c that's what women do, but that purse is distracting me. Maybe it's the way she's holding it... or the color... or the size...

I don't really like the fact that there's a guy in the background either. Is she coming or going? Is that her ex-husband or her new man? She could have just been walking down the street like Natalie Cole on Leavin' (who didn't have a purse with her) since likes to walk in her videos so much.

I remember when she interviewed Jill Scott for Essence couple of years ago and she said she came to one of her shows str8 from the salon(she had her hair straightened) and when the concert ended she felt SO guilty she had to shave her head's off.

I bet the woman feels so cheated now

Its people's fault, really. They labeled her as this "earthy dame"(No straightened hair, no Jewelry, no brand name fashion stuff,,,,just natural all the way) they 4got for a split second that she's only another complex human being who don't believe in routine.
