A lot of these albums are what was so bad about the 1980's.

Loads of horrible Synth Funk tack.

Where's The Smiths? The most important band of the 1980's.

I think this poster don't like nothing from the '80s.

love & rockets - their whole run from "seventh dream of teenage heaven" through "earth sun moon"

laurie anderson - her whole run from "big science" through "home of the brave"

the cure - their whole run from "head on the door" through "disintegration"

prince - everything from the 80s - YES, even "batman"

bowie - "scary monsters and super creeps", and what the hell, "let's dance"

bauhaus - everything they did in the '80s

the pixies - "doolittle"

talking heads - "speaking in tongues", "stop making sense"

i'm sure there were more, but these albums were my roadmap through the '80s.

Prince - Prettymuch everything...but I really got into him right around the Lovesexy era. I thought the Batman album was awesome too

Duran Duran - Once again, prettymuch everything. Never really got into Arena tho.

I liked a lot of the rap music that was being done at the time as well, but for the longest time you could not FIND any of it around here...the best one could do was hope to find a k-Tel compilation at K-mart
