I’ve always been amazed at how arrogant 50 can be. People think that he just burst on the scene with In Da Club, and don’t realize that he was around for quite a while before that. Simple fact is that his shit wasn’t selling until he hooked up with Dre, and got those beats and hooks that would make anyone a star. Pre Dre – nothing, post Dre – multi-platinum. Plus, I guess that I’m just tired of high profile uncle tom thugs always moving things in a backwards direction. | |

good would be to challenge him to a rap off just as kool moe dee challenged LL cool j years ago. Kanye would wipe the floor with 50's ass on lyrics alone. I'm sorry i just don't see what the fuss about 50 is anyway. The guy has to be one of the most overrated rap artists outside of nelly to come along in years. If you really listened close to 50, you could barely hear him. For him to portray himself as the best and a thug at that, he really sounds bootylicious. the funny thing is that i think Chesney will sell more. Between Country and Disney acts those are the things that keep 50cent and Kanye employed. Funny that 50 didnt challenge High School Musical, not that they are coming out same day, but he keeps quiet on that. The fact that those kids outsell him 5 to 1 easily, and thats with all the HYPE. He is 100% right on with the fact that country isnt acknowledged along with alot of other genres at this point. Im not a country fan at all, well todays country that is, which isnt country, but i hope Chesney beats them to shut everyone up. This dude is funny. He's already making excuses to cover his potential loss. He's basically saying people don't really like Kanye's music as much as his and that his label is going to buy up CDs to keep Kanye on par with him. Now if Kanye has good 2nd week sales (I see he said nothing about watching HIS 2nd week sales as well), he'll say that HE is the reason Kanye is selling so many records - because everyone is rooting for the "underdog" or some dumb shit like that. He'll try to say that people hate 50 more than they like Kanye. he's so transparent, its not even interesting. He is a 2 hit wonder! In Da Club and 21 questions! He already distroyed JaRule and criticized Ja for rapping along side R&B singers only to turn around and do the same thing. He tricked Ja into attempting to become a Hardcore rapper which ruined Ja's career. Exactly. The whole thing is insane at this point. If i had to predict an opening its gonna be Chesney,West and 50 cent, and then Week 2 both will drop off 70-80% in sales while Chesney will stick around a bit. This whole "leak" thing is a FAKE story, everyone who knows anything knows that 90% of artists especially in Rap Leak their own shit. Its just another excuse, like i said before, the Jayz camp did this at the end of last year, they leaked the album through Myspace, then it came out did 700,000 the first week and then dropped off the radar, Jayz's camp talked about sueing Myspace because they felt the album could have sold over a million first week, but of course nothing ever came of it because it was all the HYPE.
