Dude, calm down. Most of the time PatrickS77 ends his sentences with exclamation points -- not just in response to you. biggrin

The main point of the list was not to denote which tracks had become hits when released as singles, but to show which songs Michael Jackson had written or co-written.

I suggest you click on the wikipedia link PatrickS77 has provided and see the chart positions of each single. biggrin

On a final note: I apologize again avasdad for hijacking your thread. I am aware that the moderator gave this thread a warning for veering off topic....

The moderators were nowhere to be seen when MJ fans were calling people "fucking retards", "morons" and "wankers", yet a topic goes ever so slightly off topic and suddenly they're clanking their iron chain.

[See that little button at the bottom of your posts? It's called the "Report to Moderator" button. If you push that at any thread you feel is offensive, we'll look into it. As we mentioned in the site discussion forum, we cannot see all threads all the time, and rely on other orgers to let us know when things are getting out of hand - when it was brought up about the flaming in here, we looked into it. same with threads that go off topic (like this). so, chill out with the attitude. - June7]

I understand that mr moderator sir, but I don't think this thread had gone too far off topic when you posted the warning on top of the previous page. It's not like the discussion had moved on to Albanian goatherding or something. It was still pretty much in the Madonna/ Jackson ballpark. So I don't see what the complaint was.

Well now I feel like I have to apologize - if I'd know this info came from Wikipedia I would never have questioned it as a source. My fault.

I did not know exclamation marks denote anger - guess I better cut back on using them!!!!!

Who said I was pissed? Biting sarcasm is my natural style. No need to get bent out of shape about it. As for "worse things have happened" well yes, they have, like closing down a thread that was just beginning to get somewhere because of comments made ten pages earlier, but I'm sure that wasn't your decision.

I think Michael Jackson SHOULD be more desperate but he isn't..he has a lot to prove and madonna doesn't- yes he's done all that great music and blah but all the controversies have overshadowed his music and such and he needs to remind people that it all started with music- not whether he molested boys or not or how many surgeries he's had..

He's been sloppy and doesn't seem to give a damn - even this 'new album' of his doesn't seem to be coming out anytime soon, heck he didnt even know that will.i.am was also a rapper- someone who's supposed to be working with him on this so called album..But it doesn't suprise me, he has never ben able to handle his career well and thats partly why he's in the mess he is today...He needs to sort him out or else the only respect people have for him (music, dance etc.) will be out the window..

IMO,Madonnas 'talent' does'nt near match up to Micahel's - she's just been smart...he should take tips..

nod

Michael Jackson should be desperate, but he does not seem to be.

Madonna is not desperate, and has handled her career and personal life better than Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson is more talented than Madonna.

Janet Jackson is not going to have a career boost with the new film.

That about sums up the thread.

alphastreet

it's true, he doesn't give a damn and seems out of it, when he could be bigger than madonna and putting himself out there through music instead of stupid interviews.

I think janet might do well with her music, if LA Reid is by her side. If not, then she's officially done.
