I don't really like her as a singer. She yells. She can't even scream properly. Even studio edits of her voice annoy me to no end. What do you think about her?

I like her... I used to be crazy about her actually
pre-Katrina.. I was in New Orleans at a thrift shop
(the one cat-a-cornered from the Burger King in front of
Xavier University) THRIFT CITY or something like that

and I saw a stack of records in there, well a few boxes actually
they had like 5 copies of her first single "I've Changed My Mind"
going for 75 cents a piece... I copped one
this was before I even knew who Keyshia was...
once I put the needle to the record, it was love @ first listen

then I saw the video... and I just dug
her swagger to the fullest
she was really giving me
"early Kelis" with the attitude/hair

then on her release date... I spent all afternoon
going from store to store trying to get a copy
of The Way It Is... everywhere was sold out

so later on in the week, I found a copy at a Kmart
in a city nearby.. I had found a few in Wal-Mart
but as we all know, they sell edited versions there

so when I finally got the album & listened
of course, the hype had me thrilled
but as time passed... it became one of my least played albums

there's only about 4-5 songs I really like on there
and current day Keyshia is starting to rub me the wrong way
she's trying to hard to be something she can't

I'm sensitive about my Mary
so I guess it's a STAN thing

but I wish Keyshia the best of luck
she'll be around for a while

love Last Night, HATE her music overall. Her voice is just ok, nothing special.
