I have this CD.It was remastered several years ago with bonus tracks. It's not a bad album, but it's not great one, either. The highlight is the uptempo "Jamboree",my favorite track on the album."Lady Is Love" is a nice midtempo song, and the ballad "I Need You" is a powerful showcase for White's impressive vocals. But there's some really bad filler here. Thanks to the synth-heavy 80s production techniques,a few of these songs sound horribly dated."Invitation" is dreadful Ditto for "Believe In Magic" and "Switch On Your Radio".I find that the slower and midtempo tracks work best. The first single was a remake of Ben E.King's "Stand By Me".It's alright...nothing spectacular. That's how I feel about the whole album. There are a few good songs and some filler tracks.

I like i need you, the stand by me remake, switch on your radio, and invitation.
It wasn't a great solo album but it was decent. It would be worth your 4 bucks. I Need you is one of my favorite ballads. Maurice wasn't hurting for money at this time even though ewf took a hiatus because phillip bailey's r&b solo projects were produced under his production company. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
