to some, its a valid question to ask...you disagreed and voiced your objection to it in the original thread, right?

now, if you want to debate the racial undertones of the thread then create a thread about it in the p&r forum. or, if you want to discuss how the question asked and inappropriate you can report the thread to the mods or create a thread about it in site discussion.

but why create an entirely new thread to clutter the non-prince forum? its bad enough we gotta wade through fifteen hundred madonna and mj threads on any given day.

It makes sense. Believe me it does. Not speakin for every African American person but SOME of the people that I work / live with etc. etc. there is always white people that can hang with African American people and can connect so well with our culture that they can almost be considered that themselves. The "black pass" as they say.

Take a African American guy who basically was raised by Korean people, grew up in Korea and speaks the language...hell...he basically get's the " "....you got it? He may not look Korean but hell he is.

Ok I wanna create another Janet thread about Rush Hour III soundtrack but SOS just scared me from doing so

Why not the other way around? What Japanese singers do you give a Korean pass to? Do you realize that relations between Koreans and Japanese are just as frought with tension as well as respect? That along with the recent surge of interest in Korean music and TV shows in Japan, there is also misunderstanding and a lack of knowledge of one another's culture? That hundreds of thousands of Koreans live in Japan as second-class citizens?
