Hopefully this album lives up to the title. Im not feeling that Sign O The times cover, it sounds very "typical RB" production to me. Im hoping theres an actual band behind Chaka, since U AINT GONNA GET NO FUNK if no one is there to play it as Prince would say. I remember last year when Lionel Richie's coming home album was coming out, everyone was like its a return to funk, it was awful, what a letdown, Lionel Richie singing plastic songs written and produced by Ne-yo. Just reading the tracklisting and guest stars, it doesn't sound like the album is going to live up to it's name.....especially having someone like Scarey J. Blige on the album. Sounds more like shit hop to me. Andy is a four letter word. | |
