bangin'! Thanx pill! By the way, I feel that album is underrated. It SMOKES The Clones and every Parliament album that came after. I KNOW Mothership is THE ONE, but this album I say is right behind Mothership. It has that street, hard drugs, bruthas doing the gangsta lean, huge black LTD car driving, but still outerspace funk. It's fucking brilliant. It's Bootsy at his gangsta bass playing best.

You know

I'm always going back and forth w/ this one and the Mutha' Ship album.

I still give the Mutha' Ship the edge tho'...

I still vibed off that album..

Clones was like a filler to the story line, so its a great conceptual album..

The genius of those cats were definitely on this tune biggrin

No no, bro... this is THE ONE, most definitely. One of the greatest albums ever recorded, dig? cool
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I agree that it's a great album, as I already stated as such. But no, I won't ever put it above Mothership. Now THAT album is not only Parliament's best album but it is indeed one of the greatest albums ever recorded that we the people know of. That's my opinion.

Exactly. That is why bop gun stale in comparison to flashlight. Initially when i
bought the album in middle school i was disappointed because it didn't have that bump that the mothership album had but flashlight, bop gun and sir nose kept it from flop status. I still would rate this album behind motor booty affair and mothership. Rumpofsteelskin!
headbang

Must say after watching the video for funkentelechy it sounds better live than it do on the album. They just don't funk like that no mo.

damn just reading the words bop gun hit me in my heart with that funk and bernies synth lines ..oh lawd...touched

funkentelechy vs the placebo syndrome is their best hands down..

mothership connection follows a close 2nd

and every other album has their brilliance as well
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
