Hanoi Rocks comeback Those of you who remember this band you might be interested to know that the 80's Glam-peacocks Hanoi Rocks will be soon releasing a comeback record worldwide. Only Mike & Andy are on board this time, but that's all we want, right? Be prepared for some of the most wholeheartedly rockin' (and funniest) bands in the world.
More importanly Andy's got his teeth now fixed!

My favorite band! The new album is supposed to be released on October 21! The title... let me go and look...
"The new Hanoi Rocks album will be released on October 21st, 2002. The working title for the album is "13 Shots On The Rocks"." The first single, "People Like Me" is good... they need to get a decent message board like this one. I have been posting there for a while now and it's always so dead there and the format sucks. . I'm also waiting for Andy's book to be published in English... have any of you read it, and what did you think?

It seemed rather entertaining, and not at all as lunatic as one might expect. Of course I haven't read the whole book, but have fluttered through a few pages at bookstores.
But also catch the Iggy Pop "A Neighborhood Thread" (I think it was called) book which discusses Iggy's late 80's world tour when Andy used to play guitar in his band. Actually there's far more written on Andy's infamous escapades than on Iggy himself on that book!

I heard that was rather good.

The movie? A little bit overrated I think. But a lot of fun nevertheless. You just gotta love the scene where Andy goes to the countryside to visit Mike in his rotten middle-of-nowhere "villa" with apparently not even enough electricity!
He is drunk all through the movie though. Not that it would come as any sort of a surprise...
