First, let me say that I am still a fan of Mariah's voice BUT why is the new Faith Hill single 'Cry' better than Mariah's 'Through the rain?' Is it that whisper singing that gets on my nerves? or is it that Faith Hill can just Blow?

Give me Faith Hill anyday, over Mariah Carey!!! Also, have u heard LeAnn Rimes new single, the title of which escapes me right this minute, but eye saw the video for it 2day and it totally rocks!! Its so sensuous and even has a Spiritual twist 2 it!! She looks so stunning!!! She has come a long way since her early days!!

i think LeAnn is ready to become a real grown up player. Can you imagine if Faith, LeAnn and Shania all release before Christmas.

i go for Mariah. Gorgeous voice, gorgeous face+body, can sing ballands, urband stuff, writes,produces, and the damn tone,range, and power of her voice.


faith hill sucks and her voice is horrible, imho.

Musically I don't care for either of them. But, if I were forced to choose, Faith. She isn't as stuck on herself as Mariah... or as fake.

Country Music just like Rap,R&B,Pop,etc.. is so watered down nowadays that somebody like Faith Hill will blow up.I'd take Kathy Matta&Wynnoa Judd over Her easily just on Voice.

I am amazed that people are so blinded by Faith Hill and Shania Twains physical attributes that they overlook the fact that neither of them have any sort of range and can only carry a tune at best.

Mariah hasn't done just a whole lot of great material, but to even compare any of these female singers to her is insane!
